GoodYear- Goodyear is one of the oldest and most well-known tyre brands with global dominance. The company is currently the 4th largest producer of tyres in the world and one of the leading tyre makers in India. It was formed in 1961 in India with the name Goodyear India Ltd and now commands a market share of about 3 per cent.
The company, at present, produce and supplies tyres for a variety of segments, including passenger, performance vehicles and SUV 4X4. Goodyear tyre has a strong footprint in 21 countries and 48 manufacturing plants across the world, including two in India, one in Ballabgarh in Faridabad, Haryana and the other in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The company also jointly manage the Dunlop tyre brand with other companies.
